The deposit shall be returned to any tenderer whose tender is not accepted and to the successful tenderers on payment into the Colonial Treasury of the sum tendered and accepted.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender, and reserves to itself the option of accepting FOR ALL OR ANY PART of the tender.

Tenders in triplicate (WHICH MUST BE MADE ON OFFICIAL FORM ONLY) under cover marked TENDER FOR OLD MATERIAL, GOVERNMENT STORES DEPARTMENT", to be lodged at the Colonial Secretary's Office, not later than Noon of Thursday, 6th November, 1941, and must remain open for twenty-one days after that date, if required.

NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
1. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 27th October, 1941 :--
(a) Light gun anti-aircraft practice at D'AGUILAR A.A. Range between the
hours of 9.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.
Firing Area "B" will be affected.
(6) Heavy gun practice seawards between the hours of 4.00 p.m. and 10.00
p.m.
Firing Area "C" will be affected.
(c) Light gun practice seawards between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00
midnight.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
2. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 28th October, 1941 :—
(a) Light gun anti-aircraft practice at D'AGUILAR A. A. Range between
the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.
Firing Area "B" will be affected.
(b) Heavy gun practice seawards between the hours of 4.00 p.m. and 10.00
p.m.
Firing Area "D" will be affected.

3. Light gun practice seawards will be carried out on 29th October, 1941, between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight.
