Former Notice.---No. 206:1940 (T) of the 4th November, 1940, hereby cancelled.
Position-Lat. 11° 22′ N., long. 109° 02′ E. (Approx.).
Details.-Cape Padaran Light is reported to have the following characteristics:-
White, flashes at ten second periods.
One group, two flashes, followed by an isolated flash.
White flash 0.2 seconds; eclipse 1.2 seconds;
White flash 0.2 seconds; eclipse 4.1 seconds;
White flash 0.2 seconds; eclipse 4.1 seconds;
The range of the light is 30 miles and it is 186 metres (610 ft) above high
water.

No. S. 427.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs to Grab Dredger No. 2", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 20th day of October, 1941, for slipping, repairing and painting Government Grab Dredger No. 2.
A list of work may be obtained at the Government Slipway, Yaumati.
The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Principal Surveyor of Ships.
A tender is received only on the condition that it shall remain open for the accept- ance for twenty-one clear days after the date of its submission.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
