PHILIPPINE ISLANDS-LUZON-WEST COAST.
Manila Harbour - Buoys withdrawn.
Details. (a) The automatic acetylene lighted buoy off the southeast end of the South Breakwater in the Quarantine Anchorage has been tempo- rarily withdrawn from Station.
(b) The automatic acetylene lighted buoy at the outer end of the new
breakwater has been temporarily withdrawn from Station.

SINGAPORE-WESTERN APPROACHES.
Additional Minefields Laid.
Former Notices.-No. 199/1941 of the 10th September, 1941 and No. 230/1941 of the
2nd October, 1941 hereby cancelled.
Details.-The following additional areas in the Western approaches to Singapore are closed to shipping by mines. Vessels entering these areas do so at their own risk and peril.
Dangerous Areas.-(a) An area enclosed by the following lines:-
From No. 4 Beacon in position Latitude 01° 15′ 14′′ N., longitude 103° 45′ 06′′ E., in a direction 276° for a distance of 2.2 miles, thence in a 'direction 360° to the coast of Pulo Ayer Merbau, and from No. 4 Beacon in a direction 360° for a distance of 0.68 miles, thence in a direction 270° to the coast of Pulo Ayer Merbau.
(b) An area enclosed by the following lines :-
From a position in Latitude 01° 13′ 34" N., longitude 103° 46′ 33′′ E., on the southeast coast of Pulo Bukum in two directions.
(1) In a direction 119° for a distance of 0.9 miles, thence in a
direction 160° to the coast of Pulo Sebarok.
(2) In a direction 197° for a distance of 0.82 miles, thence in a direction 172° for a distance of 1.1 miles to a position in Latitude 01° 11′ 43′′ N., longitude 103° 46′ 27′′ E., thence in a direction 086° for a distance of 1.9 miles to a red conical buoy which has temporarily replaced the pile beacon in position Latitude 01° 11′ 51′′ N., longitude 103° 48′ 21′′ E., thence in a direction 305° for a distance of 0.65 miles to the south point of Pulo Sebarok.
