No. S. 419.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which shall be clearly marked "Tender for the purchase of two old Crossley Vans, one old Morris Commercial, one old Morris Tourer and three old Engines incomplete ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 13th October, 1941.

All further details may be obtained on application to the Chief Engineer, Hung Hom. Tender forms may be obtained on payment of a deposit fee of $25.00 with the Chief Accountant of the Railway.
None of the vehicles will be licensed by the Police Department to run in the Colony.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.

No. S. 420-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which shall be clearly marked Tender for the Supply of 2,000 gallons Creosote to the Kowloon- Canton Railway suitable for treating Railway Sleepers", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until noon of Monday, the 13th October, 1941.
Delivery to be completed within three months of date of receipt of order.
The tenderer is required to quote price per gallon.
The creosote shall conform to the British Standard Specification for the preservation of timber.
Each tenderer shall submit a sample for analysis by the Government Chemist.
Tender forms and further details may be obtained upon application to the Manager, Kowloon-Canton Railway on payment of a deposit fee of $25.00 to the Chief Accountant of the Railway.
The successful tenderer shall be required to give security for the sum of $250.00 in cash to be deposited with the Accountant-General for the due and faithful performance of such contract.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or auy tender.
