No. S. 411. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked Tenders for Water Tanks", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday the 7th day of October, 1941. The work comprises the manufacture of twenty galvanised iron water tanks each of 400 gallons capacity.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $250 with the Accountant-General.

Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.

A tender is received only on the condition that it shall remain open for acceptance for twenty-one clear days after the date of its submission.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 412.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Light Keepers Quarters Lam Tong Island", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 13th day of October, 1941. The work consists of the erection of a small block of quarters constructed in concrete.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $500.00 with the Accountant-General.

Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
