NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE

DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.

1. Light gun firing practice will be carried out on 7th, 8th, 9th and 11th July, 1941, between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.

2. Heavy gun anti-aircraft practice will be carried out between the hours of 4.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. on 8th, 9th and 10th July, 1941.

Firing Area "C" will be affected.

3. In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of ships and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10 as amended by Hong Kong Government Notifications of various dates, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing areas affected or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.
