No. S. 280.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Wooden Hut for A.R.P. Club, King's Park, Kowloon ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 14th day of July, 1941. The work consists of the erection of a Wooden Hut for A.R.P. Club, King's Park, Kowloon.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $400.00 with the Accountant-General, which will be held as security for six months after completion of the works.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

HARBOUR DEpartment.
No. S. 281.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of a Diesel-engined launch ", will be received. at the Colonial Secretary's Office until noon on Tuesday, 5th day of August, 1941.
The launch is to be constructed in accordance with a plan and specification which may be obtained at the office of the Principal Surveyor of Ships, Harbour Office.
A sum of $100 is required to be deposited with the Accountant-General and the plan and specification will be available on production of his receipt for the above amount. The deposit will be released on the return of the plan and specification and the submission of a bona fide tender.
The launch and equipment are to be supplied of first quality material and work- manship to the entire satisfaction of the Harbour Master.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
