SINGAPORE ROAD-PROHIBITED ANCHORAGE.
Details. -Anchorage is prohibited within an area enclosed by the following lines :
From the Outer Shoal Beacon to the White Obelisk on Pulo Tembakul (Peak Island). Thence in a direction 300° to Tanjong China. Thence in a direction 035° to number 14 Beacon. Thence to the Outer Shoal Beacon.
Remarks.-Certain mark buoys will shortly be established in this area.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 222. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Immigration Outstations", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 3rd day of June, 1941. The work consists of offices and quarters constructed of wood at Sha Tau Kok and at junction of Mankam Road and Frontier Road.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $2,000 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
