BORNEO-SARAWAK-TANJONG BARAM.

Light-house erected and Light Established.

Position. Lat. 04° 35′ 44" N., long. 113 58' 27" E. (Approx.).

Details.-A new light-house has been erected on Tanjong Baram in the above position. The character of light is group flashing, giving three flashes every twenty seconds and visible seventeen miles.

SINGAPORE-BUOYS REPLACED BY BEACONS.

Former Notice.-No. 63/1941 of the 12th March, 1941, Para. 11 hereby amended.

Date. Immediately.

Details.-I. Beacons consisting of a staff surmounted by a white disc have been

established in the following positions:-

(i) 1 cables 239° from the light on Pulo Sakijang Pelepah (East)

St. John Island).

(ii) 21 cables 300° from the occulting green light in Fairburn

Channel.

(iii) 0.6 cables 071° from the white obelisk on Pulo Tembakul (Peak Island), in the charted position of the stake.

II. The red spherical buoys laid in the following positions are being

withdrawn:-

(i) 14 cables 238° from the light on Pulo Sakijang Pelepah (East

St. John Island).

(ii) 2 cables 300° from the occulting green light in Fairburn

Channel.
