Asiatic Chemical Works Limited, of No. 16 Queen's Road Central, Victoria, in the Colony of Hong Kong, have on the 6th day of February, 1941, applied for registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:-

Yip Weaving and Knitting Factory
Chow Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, have on the 31st day of January, 1941, applied for re- gistration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:-

in the name of The Chuen Sun Knitting Factory, who claim to be the pro- prietors thereof.
Trade Marks 1 and 2 are intended to be used by the Applicants in Class 24 in respect of Cotton Towelling and Cotton knitted fabric.
Trade Marks 3 and 4 are intended to be used by the Applicants in Class 25 in respect of Cotton Towels not in a piece and Cotton knitted fabric.
Trade Marks 5 and 6 are intended to be used by the Applicants in Class 38 in respect of Hosiery and knitted underwear.
The Registration of the "77" trade mark in Classes 24, 25 and 38 shall give no right to the exclusive use of the numerals "77" nor of the Chinese characters (t t).
The Registration of the "77" trade mark in classes 24, 25 and 38 is limited to the colours as shown on the specimen marks affixed to the 3 forms of application for registration.
The "77" trade mark in Classes 24, 25 and 38 are associated with one another and with Trade Mark No. 237 of 1940.
The "555" trade mark in Classes 24, 25 and 38 are associated with one another and with Trade Marks Nos. 317 of 1937, 232 and 233 of 1940.
That in use upon goods covered by the specification other than hosiery
in the name of the said Leung Yip Weaving () the 555" trade mark and the "77" trade mark in Class 38 in
and Knitting Factory, who claim to be the proprietors thereof.
The Trade Mark has not been used by the applicants but it is their intention so to use it forthwith in respect of Towels in Class 25.
