NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
1. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 17th March, 1941 :-
:=-
(a) Heavy gun anti-aircraft practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6.00
p.m. in the western area of the Island.
Alternative dates-18th, 19th, 20th and 21st March, 1941.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
(b) Reserved between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight for heavy gun practice as alternative date for similar practice originally detailed for 10th and 12th March, 1941.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
(c) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 mid night PROVIDING THAT practice notified in (b) above is NOT carried
out.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
2. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 18th March, 1941 :—
(a) Heavy gun practice between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
(b) Reserved between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight for heavy gun practice as alternative date for similar practice originally detailed for 10th and 12th March, 1941.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
(c) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 mid- night PROVIDING THAT practice notified in (b) above is NOT carried
out.

3. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 19th March, 1941, :—
(a) Reserved between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight for heavy gun practice as alternative date for similar practice originally detailed for 10th and 12th March, 1941.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
(b) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 mid- night PROVIDING THAT practice notified in (a) above is NOT carried
out.

4. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 20th March, 1941:-
(a) Reserved between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight for heavy gun practice as alternative date for similar practice originally detailed for 10th and 12th March, 1941.

(b) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 mid- night PROVIDING THAT practice notified in (a) above is NOT carried out.
