NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
1. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 10th March, 1941-
(a) Light gun anti-aircraft practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and
6.00 p.m. in the south-eastern area of the Island.
Alternative dates-11th, 12th, 13th and 14th March, 1941.
Firing Areas "A" and "B" will be affected.
(b) Heavy gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
Alternative date-12th March, 1941.
2. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 11th March, 1941:-
(a) Heavy gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m.
Firing Areas "C" and "D" will be affected.
Alternative date-14th March, 1941.
(b) Reserved between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. as spare date for
heavy gun practice as arranged for 4th March, 1941.
Firing Area "B" will be affected.
3. Light gun practice will be carried out on 12th March, 1941, between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight, PROVIDING THAT this is NOT required as alternative date for practice referred to in para. 1 (b) above.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
