No. S. 69.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for repairs to No. 4 Police Launch", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 3rd day of March, 1941.

A list of work may be obtained at the Superintending Engineer's Office, Govern- ment Slipway, Yaumati.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Harbour Master and to be duly completed within the number of working days specified by the tender to commence from the date of handing over of the launch to tenderers for repair; failing completion within such time deduction will be made from the contract price, by way of liquidated damages for delay, at the rate of $30 for each and every subsequent day until and including the date of due completion of the work.

HONG KONG NAVAL VOLUNTEER FORCE.

No. S. 70.-It is hereby notified that "sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Supply of Uniform to Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, April, 1941 to March, 1942", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Wednesday, the 5th day of March, 1941.

The Uniform to be supplied is set out in the:

Schedule "A" for Winter Uniform (including Mess Dress).

Schedule "B" for Summer Uniform (including Mess Dress).

Schedule "C" for Uniform for Petty Officers and Communication Branch

Ratings (Winter and Summer).

Schedule "D" for Uniform for Seamen Ratings (Winter and Summer).

Schedule " E" for Uniform for Mess Staff.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at H.M.S. Cornflower, R. N. Dockyard.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
