Probates Ordinance, 1897, made an Order limiting the time for creditors and others to send in their claims against the above estate to the 1st day of March 1941.

The word "HALL'S" as a trade mark is deemed to be distinctive of the Applicants' goods in Hong Kong by Order of the Court dated the 28th November 1940 pursuant to Section 9 (5) of the Trade Marks Ordinance, 1909.

The Trade Mark in Classes 3 and 43 are associated with each other and with Trade Mark No. 40/1899.

OTICE is hereby given that the Chung Hwa Book Co., Ltd., a company incor- porated in China and carrying on business at No. 69 Queen's Road, Central, Victoria in the Colony of Hong Kong, publishers, have on the 30th day of November 1940, applied for the registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:-

The said Trade Mark has been used by the Applicants in respect of the following goods since 1912-

Class 39, books.

The said Trade Mark is associated with Trade Mark No. 273 of 1931.

The registration of the said Trade Mark shall give no right to the exclusive use of the device of a book nor of the two Chinese

characters" Chung Hwa (1) other-

wise than in the manner as shown on the mark.
