NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
1. Heavy gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on 21st January, 1941.
Firing Areas "C" and "D" will be affected.
2. Heavy gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 9.00 a.m and 4.00 p.m. on 23rd January, 1941.

Alternative date 31st January, 1941.
3. In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing areas affected or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

APPROACH TO KIAOCHOW BAY-TAI KUNG TAO.
Power of light increased.
Position.--Lat. 35° 57′ 07′′ N., long. 120° 29′ 04′′ E. (Approx.).
Details. As from November 16th, 1940, the beam of the light at Tai Kung Tao in the above position has been increased in power from 900 to 3,000 candlepower.
Remarks. There is no other change.
