Sunken Steel Lighter.

Position.-Distant 1 cables, SE x E, from the North Point of Peng Chau Island in Lat. 22° 33' 09" N. long. 114° 26' E. (Approx.).

Details. A steel lighter, considered to be dangerous to navigation, is reported to have sunk in the above position in five fathoms of water at 1430 hours on the 2nd January, 1941.

Remarks.-All craft are warned to give this position a wide berth.

Victoria Harbour-Erection of Dolphins.

Positions.Lat. 22° 18′ 11.5" N., long. 114° 11' 20-8" E. (Approx.):

Lat. 22° 18′ 137" N., long. 114° 11′ 24-2" E. (Approx.).

Lat. 22° 18' 16'1" N., long. 114° 11′ 27.7" E. (Approx.).

Details. Three dolphins are in course of erection off the eastern limits of the property of the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock Company at Hung Hom.

Remarks. These dolphins will show a Red Light by night, and vessels should give

them a wide berth.
