91. No flesh meat (salted meat excepted) other than that which has been slaughtered in Government Slaughter Houses shall be exposed for sale in any market: Provided that permission in writing may be granted to a stallholder to expose for sale in his stall unsalted flesh meat which has been imported from Shanghai, Japan, Canada or Australia or from such other localities as the Proper Authority may approve; such permission shall state the name of the person to whom it is granted, the class or description of meat permitted and the shop or stall on which such meat is exposed for sale. The Proper Authority may require that such imported meat shall be inspected by a Food Officer before being exposed for sale.
