79. In the event of any stall holder failing to pay his rent in advance during the first seven days of any month, his tenancy shall be determined and the Proper Authority shall be entitled to put up the stall to auction at once and, if necessary, to evict the previous stallholder therefrom.
80. If it appears to the Proper Authority that any gaine of chance is played at any stall, whether for stakes or not, with or without the consent of the stallholder, it shall be lawful for the Proper Authority to terminate the stallholder's tenancy at once and take possession of such stall and the balance of the rent paid shall be regarded as forfeited to the Government.
81. All markets shall be open to the public only between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
82. Every stallholder who absents himself from the Colony for a period exceeding one month shall notify such fact to the Proper Authority, and report to him the name and address of the agent responsible for his stall during his absence.
83. No person shall make use of any avenue or thorough- fare of any market for the conveyance of merchandise not intended for sale or exposure for sale in the market.
84. No person shall hawk or cry any article whatever for sale in any market.
85. No stallholder shall keep any dog in a market nor shall any person knowingly permit any dog to follow him into a market.
Every stallholder shall cause his stall and equipment to be properly cleansed as often as may be necessary to maintain such stall in a sanitary condition.
86. No stallholder shall suffer any garbage or refuse to remain on or be under or about his stall and he shall keep the avenue or passage in front thereof in a cleanly condition.
87. No person shall throw any refuse on to any market avenue or thoroughfare.
88. No person shall sleep in any market.
89. No stallholder or agent for a stallholder shall act in any way prejudicial to the good order and cleanliness of any market.
90.--(1) No person shall carry on the trade of a hawker within any market area except under and in accordance with a licence granted by the Proper Authority.
(2) It shall be lawful for the Proper Authority to grant upon such conditions as may to him seem desirable, such hawkers' licences as he may think fit.
(3) The fee for such hawkers' licences shall be $4 per
annum.
