Order.

I, the CONTROLLER OF TRADE, by virtue of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor hereby make the following order-

The order published as Government Notification 1027 in the Gazette of 29th August, 1941, is hereby amended by the deletion from the last line of the first paragraph thereof of the words "other than" and the substitution therefor of the word "including".

Note.-G. N. 1027 of 1941 prohibited the import into this Colony of metals and alloys of every description other than ores and scrap. The effect of this amendment is that an import licence is now required for ores and scrap which were excluded from that requirement here-

tofore.

Order.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, I, the CONTROLLER OF TRADE, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor, hereby make the following order-

Every person who sells any article in respect of which a competent authority has made an order under regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, controlling the price at which the article may be sold shall, at the request of the purchaser, give him a written receipt for the money paid for the article.
