In exercise of the powers conferred by the Emergency Powers (Defence) Acts, 1939 and 1940, as applied to this Colony by the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) Order in Council, 1939, and the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) (Amendment) Order in Council, 1940, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor hereby further amends regulation 75 of the Defence Regula- tions, 1940, published in the Gazette Extraordinary of 25th June, 1940, as Government Notification 709 and appearing on page 75 of the volume of Hong Kong War Emergency Legislation, by the addition of the word "or" at the end of paragraph (3) thereof as enacted by Government Notification 1061 of 5th September, 1941, and by inserting after the said paragraph (3) the following-

(4) in any receipt which he is required by or under any of these regulations or any order made thereunder to give for money, makes such a statement as aforesaid,

This amendment shall be incorporated and printed in the Second Edition of the volume of Hong Kong War Emer- gency Legislation prepared under the Hong Kong Defence Regulations, etc., (Collection and Proof) Regulations, 1941, and shall form part of the Defence Regulations, 1940.
