It is hereby notified that EDWARD IRVINE WYNNE-JONES has been re-assigned from the Key-Posts Group to the General Group for Essential Services in the Hong Kong Defence Reserve, under the provisions of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939.

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by regulation 37 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, Ilis Excellency the Governor hereby makes the following Order :-
Anchorage is prohibited to all vessels within the follow- ing area in the Waters of the Colony:
Commencing in position Latitude 22° 18′ 43′′.8 North, longitude 114° 07′ 19′′ East, thence by a straight line drawn in the direction 000° to Latitude 22° 20′ 18′′ North, thence by a straight line drawn 090° to the Western Harbour Limit and thence by the Western Harbour Limit to the point of origin.

ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1899. (MERCHANT SHIPPING).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 (17) and (18) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, No. 10 of 1899, it is hereby notified that junks, sampans and other Chinese vessels are hereby prohibited between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. from anchoring or mooring in Aldrich Bay south of an east to west line from Ah Kung Nam Point to Quarry Point.
