No. 1331.-It is hereby notified that His Honour the Chief Justice, has by Commis- sion signed by him, and dated the 4th day of November, 1941, appointed STEPHEN FRANCIS BALFOUR, District Officer, South, to be a Commissioner to administer oaths and take declarations, affirmations and attestations of honour in connexion with the succes- sion to property on death within the Southern District of the New Territories so long as he shall continue to act as District Officer, South as aforesaid.

It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, 1899, His Honour the Chief Justice has ordered that the next Criminal Sessions for the despatch of the business of the Court shall be held on Friday, the 14th day of November, 1941, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon.
