I, the FINANCIAL SECRETARY, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 4A of the regulations in the Schedule to the Miscellaneous Licences Ordinance, 1933, under the Heading PART V-MONEY-CHANGERS, enacted by Government Notification No. 238 in the Gazette of the 1st March, 1940, hereby prescribe the premium at which a money-changer may exchange Hong Kong currency of any denomination for Hong Kong five-cent notes and ten- cent notes or notes of either denomination as one per cent.

NOTE. This notification is supplementary to Notifications No. 850 of the 26th July, 1940, No. 43 of the 10th January, 1941, No. 728 of the 13th June, 1941, and No. 1217 of the 11th October, 1941, prescribing the premia for onc-cent coins, five-cent coins, one-cent notes and ten-cent coins respectively. It is an offence for a money- changer in relation to any exchange to charge a greater premium or make any greater or other charge for his services than the premia prescribed.
