No. 1294.-Government Notification No. 790 in Gazette No. 38 of the 27th of June, 1941, is amended as follows:-

Section 9 under the paragraph "Private patients charged First or Second Class daily rates for maintenance, other than the above, will be subject to the following additional charges:-" is amended by the addition of the following sentence :—

"A charge of $10.00 will be made for a copy of an electro-

cardiogram."

No. 1296.-It is hereby notified that His Honour the Chief Justice, has by Commis- sion signed by him, and dated the 24th day of October, 1941, appointed CUTHBERT JAMES NORMAN, Superintendent of Hong Kong Prison, to be a Commissioner to administer oaths and take declarations, affirmations and attestations of honour in connexion with his duties as Superintendent of Hong Kong Prison so long as he shall continue to act as such Superintendent of Hong Kong Prison as aforesaid.
