7.—(a) When a midwife has completed the course of post-graduate study the tutor for post-graduate study shall send to the secretary, through the authorized officer of the approved institution for post-graduate study, a report and a record of the midwife's work during the course.

The report and record shall be in such form as may be prescribed by the Board from time to time.

(b) If an unsatisfactory report is received the Board may, after consultation with the secretary, require the midwife to undergo, either immediately or within one year, such further training as it considers desirable.

8. The Board may waive compliance with any of the requirements of the foregoing Regulation in the case of any particular midwife, if, on application from the secretary or the midwife concerned, and after hearing the midwife or the secretary as the case may be, it thinks proper.

9. Applications for the approval of institutions for post- graduate study shall be submitted to the Board in such form as may be prescribed by the Board from time to time.

10. The Board, in approving institutions for post- graduate study, shall take into consideration the number and qualifications of the teaching staff and the adequacy of the arrangements for the personal tuition of the midwives attend- ing the course of instruction, the relation between the course of

post-graduate study prescribed in these Regulations and the training of pupil-midwives, the facilities available for post- graduate instruction on the subjects enumerated in Regulation 6. and the nature and extent of the residential accommoda- tion. The Board may cause the institution for-post-graduate study and the training therein to be inspected by a member or an oflicer of the Board, or other person, whose report shall be considered when the question of approval is determined.

11. The following are approved institution for providing post-graduate study for midwives in Hong Kong:-

1. Alice Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals.

2. Queen Mary and Kowloon Hospitals.

3. The Tsan Yuk Hospital.

4. The Kwong Wah Hospital.

5. The Tung Wah Hospital.

6. The Tung Wah Eastern Hospital.

7. The Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital.
