INSTRUCTIONS MADE BY HIS EXCELLENCY
THE GOVERNOR UNDER THE CIVIL DEFENCE
CORPS REGULATIONS, 1941, PRESCRIBING THE
PERIOD OF ENROLMENT AND CONDITIONS OF
SERVICE OF MEMBERS OF THE AUXILIARY
ORDNANCE CORPS.
1. These Instructions may be cited as the Hong Kong Citation. Auxiliary Ordinance Corps Instructions, 1941.
2. In these Instructions—
(a) Corps means the Auxiliary Ordnance Corps;

(b) Controller means the officer who for the time being holds the office of Controller of Stores ;
(c) "Deputy Controller means the officer who for the time being holds the office of Deputy Controller of Stores;
(d) "officers
means Assistant Firewood Controller, Assistant Purchasing Officer, Stores Supervisor, Inspector of Stores, Superintendent of Furniture Workshop, Inspector Sand Monopoly, Medical Storekeeper, Inspectors Firewood Control, Transport Officer, Distribution Officer and Confidential Assistant;
(e) "members means all persons who are enrolled or appointed for service or may be required to serve in the Corps, irrespective of rank;
("Corps equipment" includes all uniform clothing, accoutrements, badges and other effects supplied by Govern- ment and issued to a member of the Corps;

(g) "the period of the present emergency period ending with such date as the Governor may by order declare to be the date on which the emergency which was the occasion of the making of the Civil Defence Corps Regulations, 1941, came to an end.
