(v) refusal to obey lawful orders or carry out duties assigned;
(vi) bringing discredit on the Corps.
18. The service of any member may be determined— (a) at any time by dismissal by the Governor or the Controller;
(b) except when called out for actual service, by resignation with the consent of the Governor, provided that fourteen days' previous notice in writing be given by the member to the Controller;
(c) if his services are dispensed with by the Controller under paragraph 19.
19. If the Controller is of opinion that any member has failed to reach or maintain a satisfactory standard of efficiency he may dispense with his services.
20. Every member of the Corps, who within twelve months from the date of his enrolment in the Corps ceases to be a member of the Corps either by resignation or dis- missal, may be called upon to pay to the Controller the cost of his uniform, if any. The cost of the uniform may be recovered in a summary way before a magistrate.
21. The Controller or other officer acting under his orders when called out for actual service may-
(a) enter or order any member of the Corps to enter any building or other place for the purposes of carrying out his duties;
(b) remove or order any member of the Corps to remove any person interfering by his presence with the operations. of the Corps;
(c) generally take such measures as may appear ex- pedient for the better carrying out of the work of the Corps.
