Order.
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, I, the CONTROLLER OF FOOD, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor, hereby make the following order-
Every person who or firm which sells any foodstuffs (including liquids) shall, at the request of the purchaser, give him an itemized bill of the goods sold showing the prices charged therefor.

1. The following is substituted for The maximum prices for the following articles of food shall, until further notice, be as follows:
"No person shall sell any of the following articles of food at a price greater than the price mentioned in this order, namely
2. The following paragraph is inserted immediately after the items under the heading Rice
"In this order 'grade' in relation to rice means the grade of rice indicated by a letter and exhibited for inspec- tion at the Wholesale Department of the Hong Kong Govern- www.ment Rice Monopoly, 5 Ice House Street, Hong Kong, and
also on the premises of the rice sub-distribution stations at-
66, 73, 74, 103 and 133 Connaught Road, West,
Hong Kong;
- 379 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong;
Crown Land in Kansu Road, Yaumati;
109 Tung Choi Street, Mongkok;
203 Keelung Street, Shamshuipo;
502 Prince Edward Road, Kowloon City,
́and ‘Grade AA' to 'Grade F' shall be construed accordingly.
