It is hereby notified that JoHN DAVIDSON and ARTHUR LAWRENCE POWELL have been re-assigned from the Combatant Group to the Key-Posts Group in the Hong Kong Defence Reserve, under the provisions of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939.

Order under section 75 (8) of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, Ordinance No. 15 of 1935, made by the Colonial Secretary on the 26th day of August,
1941.
WHEREAS I, NORMAN LOCKHART SMITH, Esquire, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Colonial Secretary of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, deem it expedient for the execu- tion of a public purpose to remove all graves in Section A in New Stanley Cemetery in which bodies were buried during the year 1934. NOW, I, by this Order under my hand, by virtue of the power in that behalf vested in me by section 75 (8) of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, DO HEREBY ORDER AND DIRECT that the said graves be removed to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works by the Sanitary Department and that the remains removed from such graves shall be re-interred or disposed of in such manner as the Secretary for Chinese Affairs in consultation with the Chairman, Urban Council, and the Board of Direction of the Tung Wah Hospital shall think fit and that all reasonable. expenses in connexion with such removal, re-interment and disposal shall be defrayed out of the public revenue of the Colony.
