ORDINANCE No. 13 of 1935. (PUBLIC HEALTH [FOOD]).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council makes the following further amendments of the by-laws under the heading "Restaurants, Eating Houses and Food Stalls" set forth in the Schedule in the above-mentioned Ordinance :-

Amendments.

1. By-law 7 (2) is rescinded and the following by-law is substituted therefor :-

7. (2) Adequate kitchen, food preparation, food storage. and scullery accommodation shall be provided to the satis- faction of the Council and the walls of the accommodation so provided shall be imperviously surfaced to a minimum height of eight feet.

2. The following paragraph is added after by-law 7 (2):

(3) Unless already provided under by-law 2, plans show- ing the layout of premises, as approved by the Council, shall be submitted for retention by the Council. Except with the consent of the Council there shall be no deviation from the arrangements for kitchen, food preparation, food storage, scullery, seating, latrine or any other accommodation required or approved of by the Council on the issue of a licence.
