WAR REVENUE ORDINANCE, 1941.
It is notified for the information of property owners and others concerned that Demand Notices for property tax payable under Chapter II of the above Ordinance are now being issued in respect of all lands and/or buildings in the following districts——
Hong Kong (including Aplichau).
Kowloon.
New Kowloon.
The Tax is payable at the Treasury, Windsor House, 3rd floor, not later than August 31st, 1941, after which date penalties may be incurred.
Any person liable to tax on property situated within the above mentioned districts who has not received a Demand Notice by July 31st should inquire at the Treasury.
Claims for refund of tax in respect of property un- occupied during one or more entire months of the current year of assessment (1st April 1941-31st March 1942) may be lodged with the War Taxation Department, Unit II, after March 31st, 1942.

It is hereby notified that ALFRED WALTER WILLIAM SALTER has been re-assigned from the Combatant Group to the General Group for Essential Services in the Hong Kong Defence Reserve, under the provisions of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939.
