No. 684.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. JOHN WATTIE to be Chief Clerk, Colonial Secretariat, with effect from 26th August, 1941.

No. 685.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 47 (4) of the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 36 of 1931, Major CHARLES MANNERS MANNERS, O.B.E., J.P., to be a Member of the Licensing Board for a period of three years, with effect from 28th May, 1941.

No. 686. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 3 of the Immigration Control Ordinance, 1940, Mr. GEORGE ANDREW LOMAEV to be an Assistant Immigration Officer in the Immigration Department, with effect from the 1st May, 1941.
