ORDINANCE No. 32 of 1939. (COMPULSORY SERVICE).
His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, pursuant to Section 11 (7) of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939, to permit ROBERT ARCHIBALD BOYD to quit the Hong Kong Defence Reserve, with effect from 15th May, 1941.

In exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 46 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, His Excellency the Governor hereby orders that the Defence (Ship's Stores) Order, 1940, published in the Gazette of 14th June, 1940, as Government Notification 653 and appearing on page 179 of the volume of Hong Kong War Emergency Legislation, be amended by the insertion of the words including fresh water," immediately after the word " stores," in the second line of the first paragraph thereof.
