(NOTE-ISSUING BANKS
EXTENSION OF POWERS).
Resolution.
Resolved pursuant to the proviso to section 3 of the Note-issuing Banks Extension of Powers Ordinance, 1939, that this Legislative Council hereby extends the powers of all the note-issuing banks to make, issue, re-issue and circulate notes until and including the 12th day of July, 1942.

No. 603.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. MYLES JOHN ABBOTT to act as Official Receiver, Registrar of Trade Marks, Registrar of Patents, Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Deputy Registrar of Companies, and Marshal in Prize, in addition to his other duties, with effect from 22nd May, 1941.

No. 604. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JOHN BERNARD PRENTIS to act as Registrar of the Supreme Court, Registrar of Companies, Official Trustee and Official Administrator in addition to his duties as Custodian of Enemy Property, with effect from 22nd May, 1941.

No. 605.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Births and Deaths Registration Ordinance, No. 21 of 1934, to appoint Mr. LEONARD WILLIAM HUME to be a Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths, with effect from 7th May, 1941.
