It is hereby notified for general information that Ilis Excellency the Governor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by regulation 4 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, has authorized each and every revenue officer to be an authorized officer for the purposes of regulation 71 of the said Regulations.

ORDINANCE No. 32 of 1939. (COMPULSORY SERVICE).
His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, pursuant to Section 11 (7) of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939, to permit the following persons to quit the Hong Kong Defence Reserve :-
Whyatt, John, with effect from 25th January, 1941. Boast, Robert Joseph, with effect from 10th April, 1941. Fuller, Herbert Graham, with effect from 2nd May,
1941.
