NOTE.-The above order supersedes the order published as Government Notification No. 126 in the Gazette of 31st January, 1941, and includes (a) the amend- ment of standard price effected by the orders published as Government Notifications Nos. 179 and 223 in the Gazette of 14th and 21st February, 1941, and (b) the standard prices fixed by that order and by this order for articles of food not separately specified in the previous order.
HONG KONG ROYAL NAVAL VOLUNTEER RESERVE.
Recruitment of Personnel.
No. 257. It is hereby notified for general information that recruiting of Chinese personnel for the Engineering Branch of the Hong Kong Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve will commence forthwith.
Qualifications.--(a) British-born Chinese.
(b) Sound knowledge of English (written and spoken).. (c) Age 22 to 32.
(d) Practical experience in operation and repair of Steam (Coal and Oil driven) Engines, Internal Combustion Engines, Ship's Auxiliary and Electrical machinery.
(e) Availability for full-time mobilization if and when required.

between 5.30 and 6.30 p.m. on 3rd, 4th and 5th March, 1941.
