With reference to Government Notification No. 88 of 9th February 1934, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. ALFRED REGINALD SEYMOUR MAJOR to be a Member of the Committee to administer the Mercantile Marine Assistance Fund of Hong Kong, vice Mr. EDMUND COLLIN LUSCOMBE, with effect from the 20th February, 1941.

No. 234.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint the Honourable Mr. RONALD RUSKIN TODD to be a Director of the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions, vice Mr. HENRY ROBERT BUTTERS.

No. 235.-It is hereby notified that Messrs. DUNCAN JOHN SLOSS, C.B.E., M.A., and WILLIAM FAID, M.Sc., resumed duty as Censor and Assistant Censor respectively on 26th February, 1941.

His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of section 10 of the Medical Registration Ordi- nance, 1935, Ordinance No. 41 of 1935, Dr. JOHN DURRAN, M.B., Ch.B. (Edin.), F.R.C.S. (Edin.), D.O. (Oxon.), to be a Member of the Medical Board for a term of three years, with effect from 1st March, 1941.

No. 237.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to make the following appointment:-

Mr. REGINALD DAVID WALKER, M.C., to be Director of Supply.

No. 238.- His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint the Director of Supply to be a competent authority for the purposes of regulations 50, 50A and 73 of the Defence Regulations, 1940.

With reference to Government Notification No. 427 published in the Gazette of the 19th April, 1940, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Govern- ment has been pleased to appoint Messrs. FUNG CHI-YING (T), NIP KAI-YUI () and CHAN WAI-YEUK (M) to be Members of the Medcal Committee, Tung Wah Hospitals, vice Messrs. LEE IU-CHEUNG (), LAM MING-FAN () and CHOW YAT-KWONG (H), with effect from 12th February, 1941.
