Order.
I, the Controller of Trade, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Regulation 50 of the Defence Regula- tions, 1940, with the consent of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government, hereby order as follows:-
1. The movement of rice within the waters of the Colony by any ship, boat, junk, sampan or any other vessel of any description used in navigation is prohibited except by licence under my hand or under the hand of an officer of my department.
2. Until further notice, the foregoing prohibition shall not apply to movement of rice within that portion of the waters of the Colony in the Ilarbour of Victoria within the following limits :--
On the East-By a line joining Blackhead's Point and the western entrance to Causeway Bay.
On the West-By a line joining the Military Camp Pier at Sham Shui Po and the China Merchant Pier at West Point.
3. The order dated the 6th November 1940 published as Government Notification No. 1233 in the Government Gazette of the 8th November 1940 is revoked.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by regula- tion 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, as enacted by Government Notification 1230 published in the Gazette of 8th November, 1940, I, the Stores Controller, with the consent of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government, hereby make the following order-
The maximum prices at which, until my further order in that behalf, CEMENT (except imported cement) may be sold in this Colony shall be as follows-

In gunny bags of 250 lb.
7.50 per bag.
In paper bags of 94 lb.
2.80 per bag.
In paper bags of
90 lb.
2.70 per bag.
