COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 117. It is notified under the Defence (Finance) Regulations, 1940, that the following addition is made to the Chinese banks registered under Regulation 1 (1) (6)

as permitted to sell Chinese currency and to remit money to China subject to such limits and on such conditions as have been notified to the bank:-

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by regulation 37 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government hereby makes the following Order :-

A cable ground is established, and anchorage is forbidden to all vessels, within the following area:

Commencing in position Latitude 22°-19'-54′′ North, Longitude 114°-07-19".1 East, thence by a straight line drawn in the direction 134° and continued until it meets Stonecutters Island, thence in a southwesterly direction along the coast of Stonecutters Island to the westernmost point of that Island, thence along the Western Harbour Limit for a distance of 0.9 cables, thence by a straight line drawn in the direction 314° and continued to position Latitude 22°-19′-32′′.7 North, Longitude 114°-07-19".1 East, thence by a straight line drawn in the direction 000° to point of origin.
