HANGARKATTA-SOUTH CANARA-ARABIAN SEA. It is proposed to exhibit a light on or about the 1st October 1912. Position.-50 feet West of the Custom House.
Character.-A lantern exhibiting a fixed red light. Elevation.-8 feet.
Visibility.-2 miles, from 154° through East to 27°.
Structure.-Iron post.
Remarks. To mark the anchorage off the Custom House.

A further Notification will be issued before the light is exhibited.

It is hereby notified that scaled tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Public Trough Closet near Fire Brigade Station", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 8th day of July, 1912, for the con- struction of an Underground Public Trough Closet containing 36 seats and 4 urinals and construction of Roadway over same.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
