The Lot is sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 5 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as an Agricultural Lot subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Govern- ment Notification No. 365 of 1906 and to the Special Conditions Nos. 1, 2 and 3 published in Government Notification No. 697 of 1909 and No. 5 published in Government Notifica- tion No. 278 of 1911.

No. S. 169.—It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Road South of Kowloon Inland Lot No. 571", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 10th day of June, 1912, for forming a 40-foot Road South of Kowloon Inland Lot No. 571 including kerbing, channelling, draining and surfacing.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.

MASTERS of ships navigating through the Singapore Main Strait are hereby informed that H. M. S. Waterwitch will be sweeping between Tree Island (Pulo Angup) and Rafiles Light House on or about May 20th until further notice and that when sweeping this vessel will show the Signals by day of a vessel laying or picking up Telegraph Cables.
