The Buoy is painted black, carries a green light at night, and is situated to the North Eastward of the shoal part of the Rock. Vessels proceeding from Canton towards Belcher Island must, therefore, leave the buoy on the port hand, and, if drawing 12 feet, or more, should not pass within 75 feet of the buoy at Low Water.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioner of Trade and Foreign Affairs, and the Treaty Power Consuls, have declared the Port of HONGKONG to be infected.
All vessels arriving therefrom on and after the 20th instant are to abide and be governed by the Sanitary Regulations for the Ports of Shanghai and Woosung.
