PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 98.-Particulars and Conditions of Public Auction Sale to be held on Wednes- day the 3rd day of April, 1912, at 3 p.m., at the Offices of the Public Works Department, by order of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government for the Lease of the Two Storied Building formerly occupied by the Land Office adjoining the Old Supreme Court containing an area of about 3,170 square feet and as shewn on sale plan for a term commencing from the date of sale up to 30th June, 1913.

CONDITIONS OF LETTING.

1. Upset Crown Rent $150 per month.

2. The highest bidder above upset Crown Rent shall be the purchaser, and if any dispute arise between two or more bidders the lot shall be put up again at a former bidding.

3. No person shall at any bidding advance less than $10.

4. The purchaser shall on demand sign an agreement in such form as the Director of Public Works shall approve, containing (inter alia) the following terms and conditions :---

(a.) Bent to be paid monthly in advance on the 3rd day of each month commen-

eing on the day of sale.

(6.) All rates to be paid by the tenant.

(c.) The tenant to execute such repairs as may in the opinion of the Director of Public Works and Head of the Sanitary Departinent be necessary to keep the premises in a safe and sanitary condition.

(4.) No repairs will be executed by the Government.

(.) The tenant to comply with all laws and regulations relating to buildings and

public health.
