ss, 5, 6 and 7 shall be one section numbered a. 5 which shall be read as follows:
"Every person committing an offence against this Ordinance shall be liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceed - ing 25 dollars; and further his licence may be forfeited if the officer who issued the licence thinks fit."

"(1) The office of the Sanitary Depart- ment shall be "The General Register Office" for keeping a register of all births and deaths which happen in the Colony.
(2) The duties of Registrar of Births and Deaths shall be performed by the Head of Sanitary Department (here- inafter called the Registrar), and any act which is authorised or re- quired by this Ordinance to be done by the Registrar may be done by any officer of the Sanitary Depart- ment appointed in writing by the Registrar for that purpose.
