TRAMWAY AMENDMENT BILL.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the Second reading of the Bill entitled An Ordinance to amend the Tramway Ordinance, 1901, (Ordinance No. 10 of 1902).

DEATH OF THE KING OF DENMARK.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government read a letter received from the Consul for Denmark announcing the death of His Majesty King Frederick VIII and stated that a suitable acknowledgment would be sent to the Consul expressing the sympathy of the Government at the loss sustained by the Danish nation.
ADJOURNMENT.--The Council then adjourned until Thursday, the 23rd May, 1912.
