It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Concrete Surfacing for Road to Smuggler's Gap", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 14th day of September, 1937. The contract comprises the excavation of approximately 3,000 Square Yards of macadam and re-surfacing in cement concrete, 5 inches thick, and necessary contingent works.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further paticulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
The successful tenderer will be required to deposit the sum of $500 as security for the due and proper performance of the work.

No. S. 284.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Motor Cars", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Wednesday, the 15th day of September, 1937, for the purchase of the following used cars :—
One Dennis 2 Ton Tipping Lorry (No. 827).
One 13.9 H.P. Morris Oxford 5 Seater Tourer (No. 862). One 13.9 H.P. Morris Oxford 5 Seater Tourer (No. 871). One 8 H.P. Morris Minor 4 Seater Tourer (No. 14).
Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $25 as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted.

The Government does not bind inself to accept the highest or any tender and reserves to itself the option of accepting FOR ALL OR ANY PART of each Specifica-
tion.
