No. S. 41. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for repairs, &c., to Motor Boat for R.T. Kausing will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 19th day of February, 1937.
A list of work may be obtained at the Assistant Government Marine Surveyor's Office, Government Slipway, Yaumati.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor, and to be duly completed within the number of working days specified by the tender to commence from the date of handing over of the launch to tenderers for repair; failing completion within such time deduction will be made from the contract price, by way of liquidated damages for delay, at the rate of $30 for each and every subsequent day until and including the date of due completion of the work.

No. S. 42.-It is hereby notified that scaled tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Motor Vehicles", will be received at the Colonial Treasury until Noon of Saturday, the 20th day of February, 1937, for the supply of the following:--
1. Two 5 seater saloon cars, suitable for general purposes on the Island.
2. One 2 or 3 seater car either touring or saloon body, suitable for general
purposes on the Island.
3. Two 6 wheeled type chassis (double rear axles with drive on all four rear wheels) wheelbase approximately 144 inches, capable of carrying a load of 30 cwts. Engine 20-30 H.P. Pneumatic tyres throughout. Twin discs on all rear wheels. Complete details of chassis offered must be given.
Time required for delivery after receipt of order should be stated.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
