No. 846.-It is hereby notified that the latest Regulations respecting admission to the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, are available for inspection at the Colonial Secretary's Office. The Regulations include provision for the nomination by the Secretary of State for the Colonies to two cadet- ships, one at the Royal Military Academy and one at the Royal Military College, from candidates recommended by the Officer Administering the Government of a Colony not possessing responsible Government, or of a British Protectorate.

No. 847.-The Scale of charges for Fumigation and Disinfection of Shipping, etc., in the Port of Victoria, Hong Kong, which was published for general information as Government Notification No. 166 of 1st March, 1935, as amended by Government Noti- fication No. 542 of 12th July, 1935, and Government Notification No. 176 of 12th March, 1937, is further amended as follows: -

Table I under the heading "A.-Fumigation of Vessels" is cancelled and the following substituted therefor :-

Sulphur di-oxide fumigation of ships.

No. 848.-It is hereby notified that the fees for Deratisation Exemption Certifi- cates as set out in Government Notification No. 256 of 13th March, 1936, and the charges for Fumigation and Disinfection of Shipping, etc., as set out in Government Notification No. 166 of 1st March, 1935, as amended by Government Notification No. 542 of 12th July, 1935, Government Notification No. 176 of 12th March, 1937, and Government Notification No. 847 of 19th November, 1937, are increased by fifty per cent. in every case where such fees and/or charges are payable for work done outside official hours.

For the purposes of this Notification official hours shall be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on each of the days Monday to Friday inclusive, and from 10 a m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday; and work done on Public or General Holidays shall be work done outside official hours.
