6. The following note has been added to the group QTG (pages 18 and 32):-
In air navigation, QTG used alone relates to ordinary signals without impulse. QTG followed by the group "IMP" indicates that impulse transmission should be, or is being, employed. The frequency of the impulses may be indicated; it is then inserted after "IMP", whilst the wavelength (or frequency) is inserted, if necessary, before "IMP".
7. The following additional note has been added to the group QTH (pages 19 and 30):-
The letters "DO" after QTH signify that the position indicated is estimated and not observed.
8. The following additional note has been added to the group QTI (pages 19 and 30):-
In air navigation, QTI used alone signifies the angle between the longitudinal axis of the aircraft and the direc- tion of the geographical north. QTI followed by "SOL" signifies the angle between the course actually followed by the aircraft and the direction of the geographical north.
9. The group QDM QTF (pages 8 and 34) has been deleted.
10. The following new groups have been added:—
