The rainfall for the month of July at Victoria Peak was 21ins. 88 on 27 days, at Mount Kellett, it was 15ins. 74 on 19 days, at Botanical Gardens, 19ins, 63 on 19 days, at Taipo, 16ins. 33 on 19 days, and at Fanling, 13ins. *07 on 17 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 415 at 15h. 00m. on the 4th. The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 55 miles per hour at 20h. 32m. on the 4th.
